Matteo has followed in his parents footsteps by getting in to the catering trade from a young age of 13 where he began his journey in the kitchens working for many years on and off with his mother and father at the Rock Tavern on Glossop Road. He has since travelled to work in the United States, local independent restaurants and worked as a patisserie, he was also head hunted in 2005 for a development chefs Job in manufacturing, which he did for 5 years, but when the opportunity came to set up his own business by taking on the catering at Oaklands Hall the love of the kitchen was too strong to turn down so he established Matteos Catering in 2010.
Since Matteo started the company in 2010 he has built up a great rapport with his team of chefs. Having taken on a new head chef Dave Lord the company has been able to expand and can now offer quality outside catering.
Nothing has changed, we still pride ourselves in the daily preparation of home cooked food using only the freshest ingredients available to us, ranging from 5 course gourmet dinners & traditional Sunday lunches to hotpot suppers & finger buffets.
Matteo teamed up with father Matteo (Matteo Snr) the manager of Oaklands Hall in Hyde to provide quality catering and service over the past 7 years. Oaklands is licensed for civil weddings and has 2 fantastic suites suitable for all occasions.
Matteo’s outside catering provide quality food for all occasions for small or large parties.
